The State Government is planning to provide a safer crossing of Regency Road for cyclists who use the popular City-Levels Bikeway. That’s great news. As part of the consultation, the Deparment provided two options; one that has a pedestrian actuated crossing that would have cyclists divert off the route to cross the road (not good) and one that installs traffic lights at the Galway Drive/ Regency Road intersection.
