RAA Risky Rides Survey is a must do

From the RAA:

“With more bikes on our roads in 2020, there’s never been a better time to look at how we can make the path ahead safer for cyclists.

Many of our state’s bike trails are receiving significantly higher pedal traffic this year, according to data from the City of Charles Sturt and the Bicycle Institute of SA.Figures for March to June 2020 increased by at least 30% on the previous year on both the River Torrens Linear Path and the Outer Harbor Greenway. Some months, including April and May, saw cyclist numbers double on the Torrens Linear Path.

To coincide with this increase of 2 wheels on our roads, RAA’s launching a survey to find out what you – our members and road users – think are the most dangerous spots for cyclists. We’ll then use your feedback to campaign for improvements.

By taking part in the survey, you can nominate up to 10 on-road cycle lanes or off-road cycle paths that pose a risk to riders.” (SAMOTOR)

Please take the time to pass on your valuable experience as a regular rider.

Thank you to the RAA for respecting and valuing the safety of those that choose to cycle.
